Lions Start Strong
Our Lions got off to a great start against a quick Truman team. Mike McFadden led the defensive charge with a sack and a fumble recovery. Mike also scored the final touchdown with a thundering run in the fourth quarter. Shawn Brown also recovered a fumble, and Andy Spahr intercepted a Truman pass.
Terrance Jackson drove for 115 yards, and two touchdowns. Chris Wagner took an Andy Spahr pass 43 yards for a touchdown. Dusty Tate booted a 31 yard field goal late in the second quarter to post the Lions to a 10-0 lead they never let go. Chris Reiter and Micheal Chambers anchored the offensive line in route to 300+ yards in rushing.
