It was a heart breaker
The Lions came out roaring! Penncrest scored on their first three possessions, the cheerleaders had the fans going, the band was rocking and Radnor found themselves down 21-7 in a hurry.
Damion Ferrainola scored two touchdowns on runs of 7 and 11 yards. Andy Spahr held the option to score the Lions' second touchdown from 18 yards out. The offensive line played their best game of the year. Late in the third quarter Spahr hit Hosier for an apparent 58 yard touchdown that was called back. Dan Hosier finished the night with 125 yards on 5 receptions.
Brad Carmichael and Chuck Rowland each blocked an extra point giving the Lions hope. Our guys gave their best in the most exciting game of the season before falling just a little short.
