Fourth Quarter Comeback

Penncrest and Marple gave each other fits all night. When it counted though, the Lions stepped up!

Ryan Phillips scored from 38 yards out in the first quarter giving the Lions an early 7-0 lead. Marple's score in the second quarter evened the game at 7 going into the half.

The second half was a hard fought battle that went back-and-forth. Andy Spahr made the play of the game with an interception he returned to the 13 yard line. Damian Ferrainola scored on a 13 yard run to tie the game at 13 with less than four minutes to play. "Tate" nailed the extra point giving the Lions their second straight win!
