TEAM
The Lions dominated from start to finish. Most teams when faced with a 2-5 season believe there are no longer dreams of victories. Did someone forget to tell Penncrest? No. They simply refuse to accept it. This TEAM will never quit. This TEAM will never stop.
The Lions gave a clinic on both sides of the ball. The line play was nothing short of excellent. Wynton Shelton, Evan Dick, Chris Reiter, Brad Carmichael, Michael Chambers, Michael Dougherty, Charles Rowland and Shawn Brown played the game of their lives. Offensively and defensively the line dictated Haverford's game plan. Moms whatever you feed these guys, please start cooking another batch!
Dan Hosier caught a Ryan Phillips half-back pass for a touchdown, Damian Ferrainola just wouldn't go down. Andy Spahr took his game to a whole new level and Dusty Tate booted two field goals for good measure. Dean Jones helped lead the defense with a team high 8 tackles.
