Lions win in overtime!

The lions drove one hour to Reading to open the season against Exeter. Lightning unfortunately halted the game thirteen minutes into the first quarter. Penncrest returned Saturday night. The game was an even battle with both teams squandering opportunities in the red zone. Regulation ended in a 0-0 tie. Ryan Phillips scored on the first play in overtime from the ten yard line. Exeter sent their linebackers on a blitz. Timothy McCabe carried out a fake to perfection, drawing the blitzing linebackers to him as Ryan scored on an option to the left.
