Varsity: 2011 Results - Week 2
Penncrest vs Haverford

The freshmen team travelled to Conestoga on Wednesday September 28th only to come away with a 12-0 defeat. The offense got into the red zone 6 times but came away empty because of turnovers and running out of downs. On offense the insertion of a halfback pass saw Diego Zubieta-Soto pass 30 yards to Bobby McCafferty. Diego had runs of 15 and 25 yards from halfback and Ryan Frawley the fullback had two nice 20 yard runs. The defense was again led by Diego with nine tackles and he also caused a Conestoga fumble and good tackling by Pat Gorman and Benton King. Next game is the first at home against Haverford on October 5th.
