Nail Biter
Our freshman Lions played the last game of their exciting season last night. They fought hard from start to finish. Ian Jordan's pass fell short with no time remaining in the game. True to Penncrest form, these Lions never quit!
Terrance Jackson put the Lions on the board first with an exciting 64 yard run. Elliot Nichols picked up several key first downs as the Lions drove the ball all game. Ian Jordan continued to impress us at quarterback. Jordan completed several passes, and directed the Lions offense into Marple territory on every drive. This included a 72 yard drive with 2:29 remaining in the game.
Patrick Kenworthy and Matt Spahr lead the defensive charge. Spahr returned an interception to Marple's 24 yard line late in the second quarter. Kenworthy was all over the field running down Marple backs. Terrance Jackson pressured Marple's quarterback all night, including a big sack in the third quarter.
